Mazda's Mild Hybrid MHEV with e SKYACTIVG technology
features a number of technologies that deliver superior performance, improve
fuel economy and lower greenhouse gas emissions, without sacrificing power.
Its 2.0L Skyactiv-G direct injection engine that generates
153hp at 6,000 rpm, it has a maximum torque of 20.39 kg-m at 4,000
rpm. and an Electric Motor - ISG System (Integrated Starting Generator) that
uses the electrical energy stored in the lithium-ion battery to propel the
vehicle and reduce fuel consumption.
The energy stored in the lithium-ion battery is obtained
from the regenerative braking system, which allows the recovery of the kinetic
energy generated by the deceleration and braking of the vehicle.
MAZDA i-Stop"
i-stop is a smart technology that helps save fuel by turning
off the engine when the car is stopped, such as at traffic lights or in a
traffic jam. The restart of the combustion engine, when it is turned off by the
i-Stop system, is carried out through the ISG electric motor (Integrated Start
Generator system) in a faster and more timely manner than a conventional
starter.
All these actions are performed instantly and automatically
according to driving and road conditions, always maintaining agile and continuous
vehicle response to deliver Mazda's unique driving experience.
